It started off as ‘Come for a Cuppa & a Chat’, but quickly grew into something much bigger. Lecturers, students, support staff, office based staff & students would block out time to come to the Chaplaincy Landing for their Thursday morning cuppa. After introducing a cake and biscuit selection, Tea on the Landing had been born!
Today
Tea on the Landing has grown significantly since then, so much so, we're not on the landing any more - but we kept the name. We've also expanded to the City Campus.
Tea on the Landing is a great way to meet new people, take a well earned break, feel a sense of belonging, and grab yourself a pick me up. Whether you can stick around, or are just passing and need to get to your next lecture, you are always welcome.
